Great Lakes Energy Restoration Efforts Gain Ground With Less Than 2,500 Outages Remaining
Less than 2,500 Great Lakes Energy (GLE) members remain without power following more than two full days of restoration efforts from GLE and contracted line crews. Current outages are scattered across 18 counties within the GLE service territory.
Line crews continued their work through yesterday evening, restoring power to more than 3,000 GLE members. Allegan, Crawford, Lake, Mason, Newaygo, and Osceola counties remain as areas with the greatest concentration of outages. Since the storms began on August 10th, power has been restored to over 70,000 GLE members.
Great Lakes Energy members are reminded to stay away from downed power lines and also stay clear of trees and limbs hanging on the lines. Current outage information by counties and zip codes is updated on the Great Lakes Energy website, www.gtlakes.com, by visiting Storm Central.
Great Lakes Energy members can report their power outage online, on the Great Lakes Energy app, or by calling 888-485-2537.
