Request for Proposals No. 01 - Disaster Debris Removal

Following a severe ice storm on March 29, Great Lakes Energy Cooperative (GLE) is seeking qualified contractors to remove and dispose of storm-related debris—including damaged poles, wire, fiber, and vegetation—from its service area in northern Michigan. Work must comply with FEMA and federal grant requirements, as the project may be federally funded. Timely response is critical to ensure public safety and prevent further damage. (Amended 4/17/2025)

Request for Proposals No. 02 - Disaster Debris Monitoring

Following a major ice storm on March 29 that caused extensive damage across northern Michigan, Great Lakes Energy Cooperative (GLE) is seeking qualified contractors to provide disaster debris monitoring services. Contractors must have experience tracking and documenting debris removal related to utility infrastructure, using technology to support compliance with FEMA and federal grant requirements. Timely performance is essential, and the project may be partially or fully funded by federal disaster programs. (posted 4/16/2025)
