Employee Appreciation Day

Celebrate GLE Employees

You often tell us how much you appreciate our employees. Lineworkers have their own day of recognition — National Lineman Appreciation Day on April 9.

But all Great Lakes Energy employees play a part in looking out for you by doing their jobs well every day. Less-visible workers include field reps, engineers, dispatchers and employees in member services, administration, accounting and finance, mapping, electrical technology, human resources, information technology, loss control and training, vegetation management, transportation, and communications/marketing. In all, that amounts to 236 employees spread among nine GLE locations in western Michigan, plus a one-man service center on Beaver Island.

Today is March 2, Employee Appreciation Day. Join us in recognizing all GLE employees and their dedication to the serious role of looking out for you and the communities where we live and work.

If you have a GLE employee you’d like to recognize with positive feedback, please leave a comment here.

I would like to leave feedback for an employee on a service call today, Jan 8, 2023. We were having an issue with our internet so I called the 800# and spoke with Scott and determined that my modem/router was failing. Scott came out on a Sunday and replaced our equipment with new up to date items. He was super friendly and had us up and going very quickly! Very happy customers!! Thank You!!
