Great Lakes Energy is an electric cooperative, which is a democratic organization controlled by a board of directors. The board is made up of members who actively participate in setting policies and making decisions, and are chosen by YOU— our members.
Qualifications and experience:
- Elected to his first three-year term on Aug. 1, 2016.
- Former vice chair, GLE board of directors.
- Chair, Truestream board of directors.
- Fully accredited and director gold status, John has completed the highest level of classes offered by the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA).
- 34 years of team building and business management experience with General Motors.
- Member of the Barry County Planning Commission and Barry County Parks and Recreation.
