To GLE, looking out for you means looking out for your children, too.
As another part of our community involvement, we provide classroom grants to fund innovative programs at schools in or near Great Lakes Energy’s service area. This marks the seventh year of the Classroom Grant program, which began in 2012. Since the program began in 2012, schools received a total of $127,709 in grants to make possible 86 projects.
Teachers may apply for a grant through Nov. 2, 2018 to fund projects for innovative technology, equipment or materials which enhance current and future student learning.Â
If you’re a teacher or administrator of a public or private K-12 school that meets the grant’s location requirements, get more information and download an application for the 2018-2019 school year. Maximum grant awarded per school district is $2,000. Â
